Exeter Library’s special collections lie below the library floor in what is known as the “cage”.  \n\n\n\nOut of 800 books in the collection\, only 8 are by women. The lives of 4 of these extraordinary women are uncovered in an immersive audio journey.  \n\n\n\nThe installation features a uniquely designed book which you can use to navigate your journey. DESCRIPTION:All Melville area residents welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Melville Community invites all residents of the Melville areas\, Warren Road\, St Luke’s\, Abbey Road and Rock Road\, to participate in our regular monthly meetings. It is a unique opportunity to share your concerns regarding our Neighbourhood and help improve our town. \n\n\n\nRepresentatives of the Council and Torquay Police support our community and attend these meetings\, which helps residents and the Town administration focus efforts where it matters most. \n\n\n\nWe can already see many improvements in our Neighbourhood\, but it is only beginning\, and thanks to all resident’s collective efforts and support from Council and Police so far\, our area will become safer\, more vibrant and more pleasant to live in. \n\n\n\nThe monthly meetings are also a great place to make new friends and learn about upcoming events and activities planned in our area.
