Little Bookworms – New event! at Torquay Library

Under 5s Craft and Story time Club 11-11:45am Every Monday (term time only).

A completely free event to spend time reading and making crafts. Parents/guardians get a free hot drink. A chance to meet others and learn together. Also, includes bubbles and singing.
Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Bounce & Rhyme at Torquay Library

Every Wednesday 11-11:30am.

Develop your baby’s language skills by joining in with singing your favourite nursery rhymes. Great fun for everyone. Look out in October for our new Family Bounce & Rhyme starting on Saturday 14th October, so the whole family can come along!
Book from 6 days before the event. Free of charge.

Saturday Club at Torquay Library

Looking for fun and free activities? Enjoy getting creative? Come and join us for crafts and Lego. This month’s themes are back to school items so think pencil pots, 3d bookbag colouring, and bookmarks.
No need to book just come along. Free of charge

Storybox Course – Free accredited course at Torquay Library

Starts Monday 18th September 10-11am and runs every Monday for 4 weeks.

A fabulous book themed course run by Rachel from South Devon college. This is a free course which earn the participants a qualification. Learners get to create a storybox based on their favourite storybook. Rachel teaches several crafting skills which enhance the project and enable you to improve on other craft projects. Places are limited to 6 adults and runs for 1 hour per week over 4 weeks. You can bring your babies and toddlers too so you don’t need childcare, and they can make characters to go in the storybox.
Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

South Devon Players – Macbeth at Torquay Library

Friday 29th September 10:30am-11:30am Babble & Brew event. Free tea and coffee plus a chat with the team from South Devon Players who will also treat us to an excerpt from Macbeth. Murder in the Library! Free event. Book before to avoid disappointment.
