Melville Smoking Cessation Group 2025
Do you smoke?
Did you know that the best way to quit smoking is a combination of support and treatment?
Join us from Monday 13th January, 6 PM at the Royal Lyceum on Abbey Road, where we kick start our 2024 Smoking Cessation Group, funded by Torbay Council’s Smoking Cessation Communty Grant.
Every Monday for 12 weeks, we will be hosting various sessions and will be able to signpost to available stopping services, as well as a host of other activities to help beat the habit, while having a supportive group for accountability.

Session 1: Monday 13th January 6 PM – 7.30 PM
To kick off our first session, we will be joined by Charlotte from Your Health Torbay who will be joining us to offer advice and information on the free stopping services available.

Session 2: Monday 20th: Charlotte King from the Pebble Ridge Practice – Education on the Mind Cessation – how and why we smoke, what you can do to create change – intro, techniques.
FUTURE SESSIONS: This will include a mix of yoga, nutritional advice, hypnosis sessions, positive visualisation and breathing techniques.
