We need people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect the communities they serve to put themselves forward for election.

Being a councillor allows you to make a difference and help shape the local community’s future.
You don’t need special qualifications. Skills gained through work, raising a family, caring for relatives, volunteering or being active in the community or faith groups are highly valuable.
Support, information, and training are provided for new councillors and ongoing training for councillors of all levels.
